Vila-Sheree Watson

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area (CA), Vila-Sheree Watson currently resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with her husband, Paul. A food aficianado and a gourmet cook, Vila-Sheree is active in the First Church of Seventh-day Adventists in Washington, D.C (www.firstsdachurch.org). Holding degrees in both communications and marketing, Vila-Sheree is traffic and production manager at Love & Company (www.loveandcompany.com), an advertising and marketing firm in Frederick, MD. She is also the proprietor of Watson Public Relations & Graphic Design, a freelance business started in 2002.

Being reared in a family where Greek life and Christianity are both important, Vila-Sheree believed that the great chasm between the two could somehow be merged. While attending a Christian college, she met co-founders Carla Griffith and Nicole Gardner. They were all were apart of now defunct, local Christian club for women. This set the wheels in motion for what is now the national organization Delta Psi Epsilon Christian Sorority, Inc.

From its founding in 1999, Delta Psi Epsilon has become one of the premier sororities of its type, showing collegiate and graduate women that they can partake in Greek life without compromising their Christian values. The purpose of the sorority is to bring Christ to women of all races, creeds, tongues and denominations. The sorority lives by the goal of building each other up within the organization so that we can minister to those outside of our organization. Delta Psi Epsilon lives by Psalm 127:1, which says, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
